Description

Majic Ansible Roles currently support the following releases of Debian:

  • Debian 11 Bullseye
  • Debian 12 Bookworm

While Debian 11 Bullseye is still supported by the Debian Project, Debian 12 Bookworm has been out for a bit less than a year now, and support for Debian 11 Bullseye can be dropped.

The following should be done:

  • Remove support for Debian 11 Bullseye from all roles.
  • Optimise role implementations along the way, dropping eventual workarounds for Debian 10 Buster.
  • Make sure all tests are passing.
  • Update documentation, dropping references to Debian 11 Bullseye.
  • Update role reference documentation.
  • Update usage instructions.
  • Update release notes.
