Description

At the moment Majic Ansible Roles ships with custom modules used for setting-up LDAP entries and permissions - ldap_entry and ldap_permissions.

Since Ansible version 2.3, there is an official module called ldap_entry with similar (but not same) functionality as the custom ldap_entry. In order to avoid naming collisions and ambiguity, it would be useful to rename existing modules to clearly denote them as part of Majic Ansible Roles.

The following should be done:

  • Rename custom module ldap_entry to m_ldap_entry.
  • Rename custom module ldap_permissions to m_ldap_permissions.
  • Update all roles (primarily ldap_server) to use the new name.
  • Update documentation.
  • Ensure tests are passing after the change.
