Description

At the moment it is not possible to easily tweak the available, PHP-specific, configuration options used by php-fpm (which serves the PHP applications).

For certain PHP web applications it is necessary to override certain settings, like file upload sizes, paths etc.

It is necessary to implement one or more additional parameters for such applications so they can easily specify the extra options.

The following should be done:

  • Add one or more parameters to the php_website role that allow for more or less free-form options to be provided to application's php-fpm configuration.
  • Update role reference documentation.
  • Update usage instructions, mentioning in some note that this can be done.
