Description

At the moment the application admin and regular user do not have their home directory set-up with default bashrc, profile etc.

It would be beneficial to actually do this, mainly for the admin user. This will increase the usability of shell, since it would include things like colouring of ls outputs etc.

It would possibly be a good idea to prevent modification of bashrc and profile files in home directory.

The following should be done:

  • php_website role should be updated to deploy the home skeleton for admin/regular application user.
  • wsgi_website role should be updated to deploy the home skeleton for admin/regular application user.
  • Since wsgi_website role also depends on having specific entry in the bashrc/profile, this needs to be take into consideration (mainly activation of virtual environment).
  • Role reference documentation should be updated slightly to document behaviour of deployed files.
