Description

When running the pip_check_requirements_upgrades.sh script (as part of the common role mechanism for performing pip requirements package upgrade checks), a warning is logged to standard error about deprecation of the --index and --no-index options when using recent versions of pip-tools.

The following should be done:

  • Update the pip_check_requirements_upgrades.sh script deployed by the common role.
    • Switch to using the --emit-index-url or --no-emit-index-url options instead.
  • Update release notes.
