Description

Current role implementation does not come with any tags whatsoever for limiting what tasks should get executed. This means that in case (for example) of a simple certificate renewal, an entire role needs to be run, which can take a while.

The following should be done:

  • Explore what tags might be useful in all the roles.
  • Introduce tagging for tasks which need to be run on (semi-)regular basis if they would speed-up playbook runs.
  • Describe the tagging policy in development documentation.
  • Update role reference documentation to document available tags for each role.
  • Update usage instructions to include samples on how to use the available tags.
